[Explained] Sysprep mode

What is Sysprep?

Sysprep is used for preparing images of a "Windows Client".
It can generalize your disk, after cloning it with a backup software (for e.g Acronis).

 

How can I activate Sysprep?

While booting Windows with a stick, the first window after managing partitions press CTRL + shift + F3.

Your system will automatically detect sysprep and boot into sysprep mode.

After skipping default windows configuration, you will see a programm opened on your desktop.

Now you can manage your PC and configure everything you will need to clone.

 

IMPORTANT: Do not close the sysprep window, otherwise your sysprep will not save the configs.

 

When do I need sysprep?

Only use sysprep cloning, when all the clients have the same components or are the same product.
If you have multiple devices wich have to be at the same standards/configs, use sysprep, to save time.

 

How do I complete sysprep?

Continue by pressing "generalize" on the sysprep window, after all your configs are done.
To finish the modus press "restart computer" on the programm.

Boot instantly in your backup/recover software clone your disk.
